This is an immersive, multidisciplinary exhibition that reimagines the island landscape through the artist’s own lens, free from the strict confines of ordinance survey structures. Instead of maps and grids, the island is depicted as lived, felt, and remembered. This approach offers a deeply personal yet universally resonant portrayal of belonging, inviting the community to see their island anew through the artist’s eyes.
The work will amplify local voices and memory, honouring the everyday sites that hold immeasurable historic, cultural, and emotional value, but are often overlooked. It will create a platform for dialogue between past and present, rooted in a deep sense of place and cultural identity.
