Trá Pháidín is an 8-piece band that works mainly on creating contemporary Irish language music drawing from influences like folk structures, jazz, improvisation, experimental music and of course, absurdism. This will be a 4-day residency in which collectively they will build a dry-stone wall near the Cape harbour along with local stonemasons. This “meitheal” will focus on the social and practical engagement with the Irish language and is open to the public to join in.
