The exhibition, book and dancing at the crossroads is a mainstay of Sherkin Island life. This years annual island publication, Ag Gluaiseacht (“in motion”), explored the theme Sherkin in Motion – past and present, featuring images of people moving or performing actions. Around 700 photos were submitted from over 40 people. During the exhibition, visitors were invited to browse the book and add their own stories or notes, creating an engaging, living archive of local life.
